About Me
I have loved being around babies and small children as far back as I can remember. I first discovered the wonderful joy of helping families with youngsters when I began babysitting in middle school.
As a teenager, I worked at a preschool after school. Then as a young adult, when I embarked on my first career I taught elementary school. I later opened a licensed preschool learning center.
Nurturing, teaching, and encouraging small children and young families has truly been some of the most rewarding times in my career.
My other passion has always been cooking and about the time I started having children, I recognized that new families needed to eat, and nourishment seemed to always drop low on the list of priorities for new parents.
In 2003, I started my own home delivery meal business and became a personal chef to families all over the area.
This past year I decided that combining both of my loves would be a very worthwhile and rewarding career. I have decided to focus my talents as a chef and skills working with parents of newborns to become a certified postpartum doula and bring this joy into your home.
